Oldest move in the book. It’s been a said his dad has been THE problem since day one wrt Nico’s contract. Signs agreement and then starts putting out they’re going to expect more later. What a piece of work.

Probably thinks he's DOING IT ALL FOR HIS FAMILY or some crap like that, when in reality, he's probably going to create more issues down the road than he's fixing now.

I have a friend at work who's son is currently attending UT and is friends with some people on the football team. Apparently his son was told today straight from a member of the football team that it was nico and 2 OL potentially on the way out and oregon had offered to double his pay nicos pay. I dont know how true any of that is but my friend has no reason to lie.

I know people on here don’t like Dave Hooker but he brought up Nico not being able to pull other recruits here. He also said more recruits talk about GMac then they did Nico. It’s possible that none of this is true. However, if none of these rumors were true, why didn’t Nico come out right away and squash them?

A lot of drama. We are fine. I find the timing odd.

He walks next batter up! CJH knows what he is doing. Players see this for what it is and fans don't have a clue.

I would recommend a jersey burning instead of a Mattress burning sends a clearer msg. Somebody stated we are the only ones that had drama. Other teams do as well and my only concern is keeping those that he recruited.

Nico may have burned a bridge and others will come but for him, but not as many as he thought.
He is a like a virus right now if all is true. Somebody needs a QB so he will be swept up. Not long until he becomes a virus elsewhere. Pretty good deal we will have a two headed monster at QB.

I can't help but think that the 2 freshman QBs were pushing him a little and he felt the heat of their presence. If this is true, didn't want him because this is one trait that separates winners from losers.

Nil can be used to build a line and other positions on the roster with what was left over. Kids need to learn you have to earn what you demand. No respect = No paycheck. Coach I am leaving and the Coach's reply should be "bye". It is quite obvious if all these rumors are true that NICO was not happy and needed to move on. Skipping practice is a High School event. Pro's do it sure but they know they will pay the price for doing so.

Imagine if this comes out as true. If it is and I’m Josh Heupel I’m not taking him back at all. Can’t trust you as a person much less being the quarterback.

It’s not Oregon. They apparently tipped off Heupel that his dad was shopping him around.
