Milton wasn't as bad as a lot of people said he was. He had the problem of following Hookers season, but we saw Milton in clean up time and also the Orange Bowl he improved from his first year, he also had the $8m, 5 Star, top 5 QB Nico behind him, any mistake and he was getting thrown under the rug, also didn't help Milton that Mays was hurt the first few games, WR dropping balls and our coaching staff being so predictable and safe. He's at Dallas now and if he's QB2 behind Dak he's going to see the field because Dak can't stay on itScrew tariff war and recession bs, that damn Nico and Matthews can gtfo and take Heupel and Banks and Martinez and errbody else with them. We can make the playoffs without them. Hell Bring Milton back he wasn't as bad as I said he was.
I agree. the NCAA cannot keep it's old model. that's what I was saying. copy the other leagues. set your system up like the NFL and have players for hire (which they already have). I also suggested earlier that the NCAA abandon all eligibility rules and let players play on college teams for as many years as they want until they are cut from the team or go to the NFL. there have been tona of players that were fantastic at the college level but never could hack it at the pro level. let them stay at the college level and make their money there. The courts have already told the NCAA that their business model is in violation of the Sherman Antitrust Act and that only Congress can work this out legally.
Heavy hitters from college were on the Hill in DC trying to get Congress to do that. Congress.... to fix something.
The NCAA can't act like the professional leagues without accepting that players are employees, can unionize, can collective bargain, can have salary caps, etc, etc.
All of that centers on an Antitrust Exemption which the NCAA doesn't have.
Indeed. Very good point. With the age of NIL. These young kids need professional representation. Parents need to stay out of the deal making process. You dont see Arch Manning in the news like this. His camp has made it well known. They dont want to be involved in NIL. They want him focused on getting better and making it to the League where the real money is to be made.
Beck left Georgia. They had his replacement already there but he was the starter likely and left. Nil was a problem for him and Georgia. Downs left Bama for Ohio State bc of money. Nil issues happen everywhere.I don't see some programs having as big of a mess of it as Tennessee. I am not hearing this mess at Georgia, Clemson, Ohio State, etc. Some of this is on Tennessee as well. We just can't get out of our own way (at least in Football).

Greedy lard-ass dad going to end up losing out for his son.Absolutely no way Nico is coming back.
He either goes somewhere else and gets what he wants by way of money. Which I will laugh at whoever wants to do that.
Or he stays here, keeps the agreement he has, and plays with no motivation. Which if our side is looking at the situation like this you have to tell him to hit the road.
Damage is done. Big daddy didn't want it getting out there, which is why he was running his mouth last night and looking back, makes sense on why he was running his mouth the time before in the winter. Trying to make it look like the he or the family had nothing to do with it.
Caleb downs left cause saban retired. Now don’t get me wrong Osu definitely paid him a bag but that wasn’t his main reason for leavingBeck left Georgia. GA had it with Beck, Ohio St had it with Kyle McCord. Ala has had it tooI don't see some programs having as big of a mess of it as Tennessee.
