True, but he is going to be on campus in December so going through spring ball is going to be critical for him.

Far better to let him sit and watch a bit than throwing him to the wolves before he is truly ready.

Bama & UGA have had no problems starting and beating us with freshmen at QBs. Other P5 programs have had success as well. So please stop the nonsense about freshman QBs should not be on the field at UT day one. If Nico truly is a 5 star, and I think he is, if they can't get him ready to start, it's the deficiency of the coaching staff and not the player IMO.

I'm not sold on, I may get there, Heupel and his staff being all that great with QBs anyway. I'm still raw about Hooker being benched behind Milton, that should never have occurred. Especially if you understand Hooker was not recruited or encouraged by Heupel to attend UT, that was the gump.
