True, but he is going to be on campus in December so going through spring ball is going to be critical for him.

Far better to let him sit and watch a bit than throwing him to the wolves before he is truly ready.

This! Let him get his teeth kicked in by an SEC edge or test an SEC corner, before we anoint him the 2nd coming.
I’m excited about the kid but I’m going to be patient with him. If he tears it up early, so be it, that’s a good thing, but if he doesn’t see the field for a season or two, I’m not going to freak out.
