Nico is not ready, not all his fault, the play calling was also bad, but he missed an easy pass at the end I think to the TE, he also has no urgency about him wasting time at the start of drives, not running looking down field WAY too long... Gaston Moore needs to start, he might not make some of the big plays Nico does but he will make the little ones consistently. I'm not giving up on Nico, but he needs to sit and watch Gaston run the show and learn.

Stupid take to bench him.

He watched Joe all last season. Just stop this nonsense. Nico needs to play and get hit in the mouth. He needs the speed of the game to learn.

This will be the biggest problem with the whole NIL thing. Nico is being compensated as if he is ready, and we don't exactly have any recourse on that end.

Gaston does not, fans expectations are way too high.

He just turned 20 a month ago. He’s a redshirt freshman. Not his fault people hyped him up to being the 2nd coming of Jesus. It’s looking like he could be a 3-4 year QB for us instead of a 2 year and then pro. He’ll develop and we will be fine

And if anyone starts applying pressure there, he'll resent it - understandably so to some degree - and then you'll just have a big ol' stinkpile of trouble figuring out that situation.

Why not? he is throwing low, not running when its wide open, and running out of bounds when its the final play? Tell me why he deserves to play over Gaston who has sat in this system for years?
Sitting in the system “for years” is for a reason. Nico is just going to have to play the big games. He’s going to do dumb crap, like every other QB.

Redshirt Freshman has his first loss of career on the road to a SEC opponent with a .500+ record means Nico isn’t ready…. Late night hot takes are always more fun after a loss than a win
OR Maybe the guy who is sitting on the bench who knows your system and been loyal deserves a shot? Maybe you could learn to read and comprehend what I am saying. Nico missed throws both low and high, got Squirrel White hurt with one, didn't run when it was open, and ran out of bounds on the last play like Milton did... Tell me why he deserves to play over Gaston?
