Memphis is looking for a QB. And they’ve got a few million of Fred Smith’s dollars to spread around for football. If you enjoy playing in front of 15,000 fans and in a high school league, that might be the spot. Nico could probably excel in the AAC.

He made his bed, now roll in it, nest lessons learned the hard way,let him find out how good it was in knoxville ,where he had a group to surround him and fans to cheer for him. It's gonna be a long hot summer fir somebody.

Especially with Tennessee saying nobody is bigger than the T. Lessens the program that takes him.

You know, if this kid and had dad had an ounce of humility, taking a $1 to 1.5 million deal at a place like Tulane makes all the sense in the world. He could run up some numbers against some G5 competition and then this winter either hit the portal and get a $4 million + deal or possibly be a 1st or 2nd round draft pick.

But they won't. They'll take a bigger deal at a horrible P5 school with mediocre weapons and a subpar o line with 4 months to learn a playbook.

This dad is ruining his son's career. And it's a damn shame.

At 19 my parents moved thousands of miles away (dad was in the service) and I was putting myself through UT. I was on my own and totally responsible for my life and decisions.

Probably why it's not happening. Belichick more than likely laid down the law to daddy and daddy wouldn't accept the terms, so Belichick told him good luck shopping his kid somewhere else.

There are plenty of other players who will want to play for a guy with eight Super Bowl rings, even if the luster is off a bit now.

I doubt he ends up at a P4 school at this point (at least one worth a damn). Unless something crazy happens with the portal where someone else unexpected leaves.
