UNC has a wealth of experience in getting athletes credit for classes they never attended. They can probably get him with enough credits for a masters degree by August.

I was starting to feel sorry for Nico a little bit... but then I remembered that when I was 20 years old, I did roof replacements for a summer to pay down my student loans. The kid might be hurting right now, but he'll be fine.

I had a similar thought about being a deployed E-3, doing nastier work for way, way, way less pay.

Yes, I knew that. One of my buddies is his tight with him, so I hear things about Duke. I also know they did not pay anywhere near what has been reported. However, you clearly did not read the comment I was responding to. I was not saying Duke was coming after Nico as far as wanting to sign him. Everyone else seem to catch onto that. The context was about defenses getting after him if he plays for UNC.

Dang, is that kid going to end up at Tulane? When one of the worst decisions in college football history is on full display for everyone to see.

There is no way Nico is happy about what has transpired. You’re leading one of the top programs in the country, the fans love you, you’re making bank, you’re on TV every week and within 48 hours it’s all gone. You don’t have a team, the fans despise you, you’re income has ceased, you’re exposure will be less and your chances of making more money with more exposure with a new team are zero!

Nothing has been gained by anyone!

The thought has crossed my mind more than a time or two of whether Nico wanted to step down.

Just realized he wasn't gonna be able to hack things in the SEC so a big mess to justify being able to go a bit lower.
