This story reminds me of when I decided to forgo asking Christie Brinkley to marry me when I was Nico's age.

It would not surprise me to see the NFL draft forego Nico next year.

But I’m wrong a lot, so…

he will probably forgo the 2027 draft as well. Next year will have tons of qbs coming out. Nico will feature pretty low in that class.

I doubt the 5th year will actually make him much better, but his draft prospects would probably be better in 2028 than 2027.
