Never too early to talk about leans in recruiting. I don't see Thompson being that much of a threat to Bama kids. Eddie Gran was the classy hire you guys made and he is a straight up guy. BAMA will be to the point where they'll get who they want at home and you guys can fight the Barn and Troy for the rest.

Wow, you waited 3 whole posts to let the inner bammer shine through, thats longer than most.

Like all other trolls, thanks for the attention, you only serve to further validate that the rest of the SEC is worried now that fulmer is gone.

Now use that degree and get back to the fryer, break is over.

Has anyone ever built a fence?

Is it done one post at a time or does the whole thing just magically appear completed?
And even when the fence is up, it has to be mended. If not, some will get out and all you can do is try to round them back up.

Ha!...Go back to your trailer and comb the tangles out of that mullett! You have one good season and improve to 5-11 against the Donut King and are disillusioned 12 more NC's are headed your way...It won't take recruits long to figure out, it doesn't matter if Colin Powell is the Coach, Tuscaloosa is a hot, miserable, red clay, mullett infested, racially divided, trailer park, a nasty place period...CLK will punk CNS in short order...PERIOD!

If you are a stud recruit thinking of going to Alabama...be sure and salute the massive confederate flag off I-65 just North of Montgomery on your next Spring Break trip to Destin. I thought it was nothing more than a "few" goof balls until one of them showed up to buy my house bragging about his affiliation...Its a real and sad state of affairs down here.

Hell, there is a big flag west of Mobile. It shocks me everytime I see it.

Unlike you Jack, I don't work at the local fast food chain. You go to the fryers or back to your garbage duty. I was taking more of a shot at the Barn instead of you guys. They are all crowing about their great hires are going to "retake" the state. I'm just appalled about the rebel flags as you guys. I was born and raised here and I have never felt any ill feelings toward your state or school. Any ill feelings were toward the "great pumpkin" you guys ran off. It was his "fear" of what was going on at other programs that ultimately led to his downfall. Your new hire may work out, may not. I just wonder how long you guys will put up with him spouting off and not being able to back it up.

CLK can get inside of your heads all he wants! The only time I will be on him is IF he doesn't back it up. This is the same banter you see in every heavyweight boxing match...SMACK sometimes cowers opponents and most of the time doesn't. Ali talked it and backed it (and won half of his fights mentally)...CLK will do the same IMO...hence all of the attention. If other coaches (and fans of other programs) weren't worried about CLK and his staff he would not be an issue.

BTW...2009 is a freebie...2010 better produce a winning record, 2011 SEC Championship, 2012 NC!

CNS has added Memphis to the Alabama caravan. This is obviously a blatant challenge to bust thru CLK's fence. Wouldn't it be great for CLK to set up shop at the exact time and location with the Vol caravan?

Crimson Caravan adds Memphis to its list of stops... Interesting, huh? - The Rap Sheet - al.com

Ya know, I'd prefer if we would stay out of Memphis.
There is nothing but bad memories for Bama fans there. Let's make a deal, Tenn. stays out of Mobile and we'll stay out of Memphis.

Bad offer, BMH. I like our chances in both cities. Besides, both are closer to Tuscaloosa than to Knoxville. How about this instead: TN gives up Memphis and Bama gives up Ft. Payne? :p

Agree re bad memories though.

over the last several years the talent over all in the state has declined...tn is not a hot bed for recruiting. yes, there are some jewels, but it is woefully behind when it comes to 5* talent.

What do you really think about him?

Lol. I didn't even think about it when I posted the "good luck," which I obviously meant as sarcasm, just implying he would need a lot of it to outrecruit Orgeron. But after I looked over my post, I just felt I couldn't allow a statement of "good luck" from myself towards Nick Saban to be just sitting there, sarcastic or not.

Heh, someone should put up some of those "Road Closed" fences used when they repair them and put a sign that says "Caution: Fence Ahead."
