So Murray & Pollock don't like Pruitt cause he was a meanie pants, sounds like typical millenials. They need a safe space with crayons and stuffed animals. So Pruitt wasn't a Pu**y and didn't like the Pu**y way that UGA was running the team, seems he was right and many DAWGS agreed with him, Richt is gone UGA is better for it.

Speak for yourself on being excited for Dooley on this one. Some were excited as people are with a new coach. Most were wondering if this is the best we could do. Others felt that it was a sign of UT giving up on football.

Dooley's hiring was a sign of being bent over a table by your previous coach (Kiffin), having to hire a coach in January after all the potential candidates had already secured jobs, and being in a financial pinch because of the buyout being paid to Fulmer.

Hiring Dooley wasn't "giving up" on football - he honestly was about the best we could muster. If we didn't hire Dooley, it would have been another guy like him (another HC or coordinator from a G5 school).

I keep hearing he disrespected Richt but what exactly did he do? Curse him out? Punch him? What is this disrespect?

Not sure, but in essence, told him that nice guys don’t win big...

Pruitt’s style is 180 from Richt’s no cursing, Mr. nice guy stuff..

He’s an alpha, no nonsense coach, period..

We were giving up on football with Dooley and Butch. We tried giving up again with Schiano. Let’s hope it’s over but I’m not convinced.

Interim route would have been cheaper and better in many ways.

Of course the leadership at the time was too stupid to realize it.

Dooley over jones if he could've recruited. Way down in SEC talent while Dooley was coach could only recruit Louisiana Tech type players. The loss to LSU still ticks me off it should.ve been a win.

I take Pollack and Murray's opinions with a grain of salt. They both played under CMR. The feeling I got on that situation was that the AD possibly brought Pruitt in under the assumption that he was the HC in waiting. The boosters at the time didn't like how he was running over CMR and called for his firing. Who knows maybe CJP may not be the guy. Although so far he has done exactly what I wanted him to. Brought a different tougher mental aspect to the program.

The same coach who cussed out a secretary in Miami for buying the wrong Little Debbies is now an expert on character.
Pffff. Screw Nicky.

Dont confuse incompetence with not caring. If several didn't care, Schiano would be getting ready for first season.

Sure, the fans cared enough to cry out when a guy like Schiano was nominated. Those in charge at UT aren’t so fiery for excellence however. They simply realized ticket sales would be down after an outcry like that and had to respond.

Ticket sales are still down anyway. Many of you probably jumped up quite a bit in your donor numbers.
