I got a call from Todd Raleigh. He spent the entire phone call throwing his players under the bus for his record so far.

My mom would have done the same thing. I bet Nick didn't have the heart to tell her that he had other calls to make, or for whatever reason had to go.

Mine was from Tyler Wolf (LB). Very well spoken and appreciative. I made sure to let him know how much we appreciate athletes coming to Tennessee and being a part of the Big Orange family. I would encourage you to do the same if someone calls you. It seems to me that, other than the typical standout stars, we don't show our appreciation for our athletes. So please, make them feel that they made the right choice to come here when you encounter them.

I got a call from Phil Fulmer, who told me that he was THIS close to winning the SEC title before being sacked. I hung up on him.

Mine was from Orgeron...... he told me not to purchase my tickets yet that if i did i would be locked in and couldn't see USuCk this year...... Kiffin will quickly deny this report as soon as he hears it...... I told them both that they are the "strangers" we sing about in Rocky Top...... Orgeron quickly offered me the choice of one of his red bulls or a Monte ensure, but to get it I wound have 2 feed and burp Lane, and then change his diaper..... told his to kiss my Rocky Top orange & white ass!

I never answer the phone, I just let the machine get it because I know what it is based on the number. I got Alyssia Brewer for the spring call this year.

My season ticket connection got the same kind of call from a receiver (#12) -- not even sure who that is. I know the intentions are good, but does this ploy come off as a little desperate?

I would've thought it was more about the students then the donor? More about saying thank you then hearing thanks.
