Great win. I mean we have LBs and safety’s that wouldn’t start for the majority of SEC teams. More injuries tonight. Yet despite those shortcomings, we win on the road.

We won and people are already fighting about it on here and other threads.... Somehow the world is back to normal.

Did you see we won?
Yup, did you watch the game or you just a "check the final score" type of fan? This is a message board, right? Would probably be pretty boring if we just said "yea we won." Also go read my original post he was replying to. Offense was amazing.

If you would’ve told me we might end up 7-5 in Heupel’s first year with 71 schollys and a handful of walk ons, I might have thrown a haymaker at you for trying to troll me, but here we are. And if we do finish 7-5, it will be absolutely criminal if Heupel doesn’t get SEC Coach of the Year.

After needing to be resuscitated after those final minutes, I think I just sat there dazed for several minutes! UK seemed destined to spoil our party, and I had to wince/gasp through every snap until that last pass fell incomplete! I had lost count of what down it was, thought they had one more shot, but then realized that had been 4th down - Elation!

Agree 100%! Walked into/upon a train wreck, never whined or made excuses, and treated this trying year like another day at the office. Turning the corner will attract talent - kids wanting to be part of this trajectory. Getting some depth and confidence will do wonders for this program!

Imagine a couple of plays against OleMiss and Pitt. Be setting at 7-2? Incredible effort - we were playing several guys that haven’t played all year. Imagine how helpful Ty Chandler would have been tonight (over 200 yards tonight against undefeated Wake Forrest #9) when our first two backs were gone.
Just an incredible effort and incredible coaching. Hope we can get some more players in next year and beyond!
Go Vols!

Ky was out coached by a 1st year SEC coach and a team that saw 26 teammates leave, damn good coaching if you ask me.

This win marks the third game this year where people outside of TN stood up and said dayum about our offense and the win. After the past decade and a half Im having a ton of fun and can’t wait to see what this team can do when we have a full team to field.

I see we haven't beaten a ranked team on the road in 31 games...but wasn't Georgia ranked when we beat them w hail mary in 2016? It hasn't been 31 games vs ranked teams on the road since then? Maybe Georgia wasn't ranked that game? Thought for sure they were. I know we were ranked 9th after that game.
