Loved Josh, wish him the best. Next man up and I'm interested to see where it goes.

Josh Dobbs is an extremely talented athlete and truly special player, as well as an excellent representative of the school. Though it wasn't necessarily reflected in the team's season record due mostly to shortcomings on the other side of the ball, the senior campaign he put together was both memorable and record-setting against the backdrop of a remarkable career. The sheer number of times that he turned something into nothing over the course of his playing time - a TFL into a first down or a first down into a mind-boggling, tough, or powerfully elusive touchdown run - no doubt contributed to turning numerous losses into wins. I truly believe that he'll be remembered as one of the best Tennessee players of the modern era.

TL;DR - We're gonna miss Josh Dobbs next year.

Josh deserves his Jersey retired and a street named after him. Period.Butch was dead on when he said the guy set a standard. This is coming from a guy that stopped watching the NFL when Peyton retired (other than the occasional Chiefs game) I follow former vols on the league but other than that not much interest lately for whatever reason.

As far as ambassadors of the program people you are unabashedly proud to say played at UT there are 3. Peyton, Reggie and Dobbs. reggie mostly for what he did after peyton for his whole career (college and pro). But, as far as just what they did at UT, Dobbs stands alone. I really hope that he has a great career in the league. Sadly, how well he does is really dependent on what organization picks him up and how. he will be drafted much higher than the haters think but lower than some might think he deserves. the truth is the best thing that could probably happen for him is free agency where he gets to pick where he goes. Praying he goes somewhere like New Orleans (good situation to sit na learn without having to be the man) or Green Bay (a magical backup Qb factory)

He deserves every accolade that comes his way. A true VFL.

We need more Josh Dobbs and Derek Barnett type guys on our team. Those guys played with so much heart, you could see it, even in the games where they weren't playing their best. Dobbs was like the modern day Condredge Holloway, talent-wise. Dobbs and Barnett will definitely be missed. I hope Trey will carry their banner.
