Pretty good article here on why the whole scenario needs continued discussion. Says what I said earlier. Nico is the poster child for what’s wrong with the current system. You know there’s a problem when he said: “I did what’s best for ME.” Certainly not for the TEAM he committed to. It’s a new world. Enjoy.

This is just my opinion but, if he was homesick, why didn't he sit down with the coaches to begin with? Not showing up for practice or the Orange and White game was about money, plain and simple. I think he is just trying to change the narrative to try to save face.

There is so much more to the story that has been hidden or possibly, uncovered to the masses. Most of the players know why Nico left, including walk ons. But, don’t think money wasn’t a primary reason for Nico missing meetings/practices.

I’ll leave it at this- His father has issues.

If the story about missing the family were true, then why was that not what was said WHEN he was leaving? We all know that is not what was going on. But the story just supports what I believe, that ESPN, much like their partner Disney, is a great fantasy organization.

Here is the simple fact. He is who he is and he is where he is at.

So happy it worked out for him since money was so not important.

Sorry, that does not fly. Why did he not join a west coast school out of high school, he could have had his choice of teams to play for? Answer: money. If it was never about the money please give us a refund, thanks.

There hasn’t even been a single snap played since he left. I don’t think you are going to hear about it the rest of your life unless you are on death’s doorstep, but it is a very relevant topic for Tennessee football in 2025.

That family is a bunch of liars. It was about the money but they claimed it was the offense. Two lies to start and now it’s about being homesick. What a bunch of BS. It’s about bad decisions led by an overbearing buffoon known as Big Nick. Can we now move on?
