NHL09 Patch to fix 99 glitch

Swil,Jonesy and Avon want play 10 mins on the ice with this patch. No more open ice hitting boys.Read a blog from div 1 team on ps3 said they had 30 penalties there first game after the patch. They also said they were 1 out of 8 in crease pass goals and 0 for 8 on the corner shot.

Other impressions of the patch should make our d men very happy. It has been noticed that the shot from the blue line in traffic has a higher accuracy than pre patch. Also the slap shot from the top of the slot seems to have a lot higher chance of going in. This should change our strategy and allow our ever so important d men get their fair chances at scoring.

Well it all works together B if you can stop the other guys from scoring then you get the puck.

I only cherry pick, when we HAVE TO SCORE!!! I am very much involved with the defense and put a lot of pressure on their d men on the blue line. Just remember who you are talking to, and remember I am responsible for about 80% of your goals. In other words, you would be nothing without me!!! OOOOOOOOOOOOO.........SICK BURN:shaking2:

Exactly Fleet when were up By 1 less than 2 minutes to go why do we see your kind at the blue line while were fighting to perserve the win. Then even worse than that when we finnaly get the puck you guys forcing up to you at the blue line, causing another turnover and scenario starts over again.

i wonder if we can talk to bearcat's wife and get her to put some kind of shock collar on him that will zap him if he crosses center ice while the other team has the puck

Here are the ones I like the most:

- Prevent use of LB to get up instantly after being knocked over.
-Prevent high, accurate slap shots from in close to the net.
-Fixed shot targeting using the Always Up control when skating down ice.
- Prevent CPU players from getting delay of game penalties frequently while clearing the puck from their zone.
-Made the colours of the OTP/EASHL indicators more distinct (yellow and orange).
-Added assistance to prevent one-timer and shot attempts from leading to accidental hits and interference penalties.
-Goalie tuning to increase goal-scoring a bit to compensate for taking away the easy short-side high goals.

Hey now.. I'm not going to claim to be perfect by coming back and not trying to get breakaways, but I'm not doing it NEARLY as much as I did when we first started the team..

From what I am reading on other boards, EA servers have been down all day today. Speculation is that the patch is coming out today. I hope this is true, but if not sorry I got you excited Fleet

Sorry, but I will have to recall my previous post about the patch maybe coming out this morning. But it has been confirmed that the patch will be released tonite at midnight pacific time.
