Looks like there will only be NHL 2K11 for the Wii. From multiple reports, the devs will take this cycle off to focus on revamping the franchise for 2K12. IMO they are just going to lose more ground to EA's NHL series. Just hope that this doesnt cause any corners being cut with NHL 11 with there being no competition this time around.

EA will probably slack up as they already above and beyond 2k in hockey. However, if the reason given is truth, that they are going to do a major 2 year overhaul, EA best be ready.

It seems like 2k has been on a roll lately.

I agree, 2K hockey used to be head and shoulders above EA. I think that after a regroup(if that is what it is) they will come out with a great product.

Hopefully they stick with their leaning towards realism as opposed to EA's flashy arcadeness.

They can start by jumping in the online leagues arena... that clearly where all sports games are heading.
