I think that's the case, haven't played personally. The team/co-op ship has pretty much sailed for me. Really enjoy the game, but their half assing is annoying, or funny. Pretty much both.

rented this on gamefly and fired up HUT. The dreaded AI Comeback logic seems alive and well. Played two sh1tty teams and both would immediately score with a cheap slot shot after every one of my goals. (going to mess with sliders to see if this improves)

And WTH did EA do to vision control?? Does it even work now??

All skaters seem overly sluggish; like they have a 50 lbs bar bell plate strapped to their backs.

The last tuner slowed things down a bit too much, i figure they'll kick it up again.

Not really sure as to comeback or ai in general as I haven't played any offline games in hut.

Played a guy with Sakic,Bossy, Lidstrom, and a full squad of superstars and beat him 4-1.

I'm pathetic at the game, so he must've maxed his credit card getting that roster.

Hoping this one gets a Christmas surge, it's the best hockey gameplay yet. Unfortunately HUT is the only mode worth playing, supposedly GM is good but i am not a fan of offline modes.

I think it plays great, best yet in that regard. It's just not a full game, which sucks. I understand why it's how it is, I'm more bothered by the Baghdad Bob misinformation put out in the development process than the actual absence of eashl or a legitimate otp mode

This is a problem with a lot of games recently, I would much rather them be up front about something not being in a game than mislead us. All they are worried about are the sales, they could actually care less about the consumer.

I was actually looking at this or FIFA and every review said exactly what you said. I want great gameplay but I need in-depth activities outside the game to keep my interest. Otherwise it's just an arcade game.

I really like the Ultimate Team, I'm not huge on GM, though i loved the GM connected which i assume will be in the next one. I wouldn't recommended it at retail price, but if it could be had for a song on craigslist or eBay its alright
