By the way. I don't like Tennessee's chances against a team like Hawaii. But what else is new? We usually have rough match-ups in bowls that we aren't ready for.

They've only lost the one SEC game....

they and LSU have the same amount of SEC losses now...

They lost one SEC game......to the weakest SEC team on their schedule. It's hard for me to believe they will win out. I think LSU buries them.

LSU lose 2 in a row? and at home? Surely you jest.

I'll bet you would have said the same thing if I told you that:

Kentucky would beat LSU
Miss St. would beat Auburn
Auburn would beat Florida
Stanford would beat USC
Appy St. would meat Michigan
Oregon St would beat Cal

Get the point yet? I always chuckle when someone replies to a post like mine that actually took time and research with one-liners that don't hold water.

I have to admit, I made a comment on Saturday that I wish I had back. Lsu just might lose 2 in a row. Lsu will not be playin for the NC this year. And right now, UCF deserves the #1 spot. To hell with Ohio St.

you act like Kentucky is a weak team and LSU got beaten badly. LSU lost in double OT at Kentucky to a good team. Auburn on the other hand lost to a pretty bad Miss St and South Florida team.

Tripple Overtime

And they lost to a team they had beaten 49-0 a year ago.

South Florida is in the top 5. Miss St. is two wins away from being a bowl team. (Not that they will get those two wins.)

Regardless, Auburn won AT Florida and AT Arkansas. Yuo honestly don't think they have a chance AT LSU, and no facts or stats to back that up?

Sorry man, Not buying it.

Are you really trying to say South Florida is a bad team????

I'm assuming you mean USF. The team that beat UCF 62-12.

USF has more quality wins, IMO than OSU does. OSU won't last through the end of their schedule. USF has a better chance to. But if it's about the now? USF at least has beaten Auburn and WV.

So under the same logic, UT should again be blown out by Florida next year because they did this year? No. Previous years merit no judgement on current success/failures. And to continue with your assumption, if LSU had Russell, they would be steam-rolling teams right now.

No, you misunderstood my point.

Oklahoma was undervaluing Kentucky's win by saying that they beat LSU close. I was merely pointing out that a year ago, LSU completely destroyed pretty much the exact same Kentucky Team.

It's a BIGGER UK win because the same group of guys got beat that bad last year, and then came back to win this year.

Next Year's Tennessee team will be vastly different than this year's so the same analogy wouldn't mean the same thing.

For example, Cal's win this year was more impressive to me because of the way they lost last season, than if they would have won last year too, or if the game would have been decided in the final minutes.

USF is a great story this year. Its a shame tha the media will take a "not setting the world on fire" Ohio St. team over them.

Well, the point is that it wasn't LSUs offense from last year. Moot point though.

Kentucky is a good team this year, and I don't look forward to going to Lexington and playing them. But:

I don't think UK would have done nearly as well at Baton Rouge.

They're a good story of a bunch of academically unqualified 3-4 star guys beating a bunch of top tier talents.

Just kidding, it is scary to the rest of the "established teams" that an upstart can do as well as anyone, after only being around for a decade.
