yeah ive heard about it for a while. it looks really cool. seems like a very detailed game.

Just curious - do you think that you could "create a coach" and make him spit on players like Cower's does???

It should be detailed and well-done, it's pretty apparent EA has been taking it easy with Madden over the last couple years.

Has anyone played it yet? I'm thinking about getting it Thursday and was wondering if it's worth a damn or not?

i would rent before buying. from what ive heard alot of people think it sucks. just trying to help you not blow your moeny. lol

it is insanely boring... the offseason takes like 5 hours to complete! and the games arent fun at all. thumbs down in my book

I'm interested to see if they tried to cheat us by taking all the fun out of building a franchise on the madden games, so we would be forced to buy this as well. With the monopoly EA has placed on the NFL games it would be easy for them to make such a move.

same with me, and i'm a madden franchise junkie. I took it back .

just rented it. its fun at first but the offseason starts off in febuary and if you want the full effect of being the head coach you have to pretty much do tasks almost every day until the season starts. sadly, allvol was not joking. it literally does almost take 5 hours (or more) to complete unless you simulate everything. its realistic, but can be overly boring. you would think that the season would be really detailed since you spent all that time preparing for it but dont get your hopes up. the games suck majorly. you give the same motivational speeches and crap to your players and have hardly any options to do much else. not worth the money. definitely a rental. that being said it is an ok game if you like strategy type sports games, but i think they could have made this game way better than it is.

ugh.. exactly what i was afraid of
from what i read you don't even run the plays.. you choose them and it's up to the computer's AI to get yards or anything... i might rent it then i guess, certainly not a buy

I bought this one a few weeks ago. I like it but I still want my NCAA and Madden to hurry up and come out.

Agreed! I finally rented it and I'm GLAD I didn't buy it...awful setup!

i rented and by the time i got to the preseason i had to turn it back in because i didnt wanna late charge. :disappointed:
