Anyone other than Berry?

I think the only one that might is Walker...and he'd be much better off with another year under Monte

I don't know that there is another junior that would be picked above the 4th round maybe 3rd. but I didnt think Mayo would go in the top half of the 1st round so what do I know?

At the beginning of the year I thought Walker would go early. Up until his back injury... he was probably going to go.

Agreed...there was a point I was almost as sure about him as Berry...now I think I'd be pretty surprised if that's what he chose...

Moore and Stocker have shown some 'next level' ability during the 2nd half of the season...but I don't see either getting a 1st day projection...and I'm not sure that either would leave even if they did project in the 3rd round

It wouldn't surprise me to see Walker go. His back is something that isn't going to get better, it will nag him forever. His measurables will blow away the scouts at the combine.

That being said, it wouldn't surprise me to see him stay either. He loves this staff.

The thing about Walker is that he has only had one productive season, hopefully he will be back.

Berry is obvious. Stocker will probably come out, he's been very productive this year and has the size of an NFL tight end. Walker has been hampered too much with injuries to consider coming out. Rogan has discipline issues he needs to clear up and Moore needs to prove he's consistent.

so we should just wish them all well and watch them go "get paid" . that seems to be the consensus here, lets rush em out the door.

i wonder if USC fans wanted Mays to go pro last year like everyone here does Berry.

goodbye Chris Walker, goodbye Luke Stocker. go "get paid" and "represent" . dont come back and get injured like Sam Bradford!!!! youd have to be STUPID to want to play one more year for UT.

Stocker is not coming out

we're not "rushing them out the door" but the window to play in the NFL is small and pays huge money. Any junior with a first round grade has the potential to short themselves tens of millions of dollars by coming back and playing for free. It just doesn't make good business sense

Walker, Stocker, and Rogan would do good to come back. Your stock rises with back to back consistent seasons of production. I think we are making to big of a deal out of guys jumping.

ill never get a response to this question but...

wouldnt it be in Berrys best interest to have back spasms or turf toe and skip the bowl to avoid possible injury? or maybe go to Pilot with Marie and see if he can get a 1 game team violation suspension. skip decemeber exams and be academically inelegible. that wouldnt hurt his draft stock, and would protect it

i understand all too well how much money a big time player can make in the NFL. im just sick and tired of the people here encouraging it and saying "its in his best interests". its in Gerald Jones best interests too. no way he can raise his stock with a 1st year QB next year.

or how about the half dozen guys who will never be more than practice squaud one way or another , why not go ahead and get the money now for that and leave? there should be 6-8 players from every SEC team leave every year using business sense logic

Lane Kiffin didnt use much business sense when he took a smaller salary so he could pay his assistants more. i guess hes a complete idiot for not doing whats best for his family

I hope Eric Berry doesn't even leave.. i wish he would stay.. but besides him...Rogan would most likely go.. I can see him in the NFL, making a big impact for some team..

Does he have the size though to get a high enough grade?

has nothing to do with those things. if he goes it is due to off field concerns..i think it is likely.

Don't see anyone else leaving early for NFL besides 14

wow, maybe you should read what I wrote.

- The difference in EB playing 1 more game and playing a complete season next year is gigantic. It's about risk

- You really think there are 6-8 players on every SEC team with 1st rnd grades? That would be 72 players taken in the 1st round. I think that's a record or something

- Gerald doesn't have a 1st rnd grade and can make more money coming back and getting better. His stock definitely can go up

- If you're on the practice squad you're there for a reason. You're not going to make a living playing football

- Lane made a great business decision by taking less money and surrounding himself with the best staff possible. If he takes $4mil/yr there is no way we have half the good coaches we do now. His gamble will pay off just fine for his family in the long run

I can't believe you actually answered his drivel with serious responses

still no answer:

would it be in EB's best intrest to make sure hes academically inelegible in the bowl , so he can avoid injury?

No...I think he'd be better off if he quit football all together...the risk for injury is just too great
