Since 2021 season (2022 draft), Heupel’s first year, Tennessee has had 17 total players drafted. Many were transfers (Jones, Hooker, Milton, Hadden, Lott, etc). 2 players ( Pearce& Wright) were a first rounders.

In comparison, Georgia has had 47 drafted. many first rounders. Very few were transfers.

The talent difference that existed when JH took over would make you almost believe these two weren’t even in the same conference.

It’s amazing. And they had 2nd stringers drafted or now playing in the NFL. They still have more talent than TN. Their defense is quick and athletic.

TN receivers must get separation, esp. in 2nd half as UGA held us to 7 points the last three years after the half and 7 past thee yrs.
