Who do we expect to get drafted next year and what rounds could they go in?

Trey Smith- 1
Cade Mays - 1
Kennedy- ?
Gooden-?
What about secondary? Alontae or Bryce have a chance to go high? Safeties?

I’m missing people I’m sure but just wanted to get this question out there in the volmosphere.

I doubt Mays will go Round 1. Given Trey's position (OG) and health concerns, I think he will go lower than most people think. There may be a team at the end of R1 that takes him but I wouldnt be shocked if he goes on Day 2.

Besides Mays and Smith, a few other guys to have on the watch list. Based on pedigree, measurables, and/or opportunity for a breakout season:
  • Gibbs
  • Byrd
  • Solomon
  • Thompson
  • Taylor
  • Chandler
  • Kennedy
  • JG

Byrd was a senior he gone. Thompson goes high if he has a good year. Taylor and Gibbs will probably go after their senior year. Chandler goes mid round. JG undrafted

Awful lot of love for Mays considering he was benched by GA. Smith is probably a 3rd rounder, guards are not typically drafted real high. There have been exceptions, and I think that Smith is the best guard in CFB, tackles just go higher usually. Mays, not sure he comes out, he needs to develop.
