There are three treams that are going for the top spot for the NFC Wild Card at 7-6....Atlanta, Philly, and the Giants.......Who do ya'll think will make it? I'm gonna sound like a homer but I gotta think Atlanta will......Philly and NY plays this weekend and that's the two teams ahead of them....Giants with the tiebreaker over the Falcons are looking good if they and Atlanta win out....But what if Philly wins this weekend and Atlanta wins out? Philly and Atlanta in the final weekend could determine the NFC wild card, I know the NFC sucks but that's kinda of an exciting race

Weelll, lets' look at the schedules.

Atlanta - Dallas, Carolina, at Philadelphia
New York - Philadelphia, New Orleans, at Washington
Philadelphia - at NYG, at Dallas, Atlanta

I hate to count on Atlanta to do anything, so I think it'll come down to the Giants and Eagles.

Don't Atlanta and Philadelphia play a game in the last week?

As fates would usually have it, that game will probably be for a playoff spot, loser goes home.

As another testament to the crap-tasticness of the NFC, the Philadelphia Eagles or Atlanta Falcons will probably make the playoffs. Pathetic.

Almost as pathetic as your Cowboys have been in the past

carolina can try all the want...but they need everyone to basically lose all the rest of their games and they have to win out.

not likely.

i agree w/you...NYG and Philly get in.

I think the Giants get in and it comes down to the Philly/Atlanta game at the end of the year for the last playoff spot.

...and I might be crazy, but I think that game could be for Jim Mora's job as well.

I think you're probably right... The Vick experiment in Atlanta is going down, and it's taking Mora down with it.

Ah, I'm just ribbing ya dude, I know the Falcons are pathetic this year.....I kind of hope they get rid of Mora myself, he doesn't have a clue what to do on the sideline....I hope they get a new coach, a good one, that knows what they do and will get some talent down there

I don't think there really is a Vick "experiment". It's Vick's team, and honestly, I think his erratic passing is one of the lesser concerns. Mora will probably get next year regardless, but they better pull off some magic next year or Arthur Blank will pull the trigger.

I could be wrong, but when I squint my eyes, Jim Mora looks a lot like the NFL version of Mike Shula.

I can't come up with anything better, but I don't see any strong similarities between the two...

Athough I'm all the way out here on the west coast where coaches like Mike Holmgren, Pete Carroll and Mike Riley get all the press. So I'm not the best judge.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that Mora just doesn't strike me as a great leader. You look at him on the sidelines and he's bouncing around like a kid and you wonder if he has control of everything. He's like the anti-Parcells.
