From tailgating to the vol walk to the pregrame and well into the 3rd qtr neyland stadium was as electric as it has been in a long time. You could tell the duck fans that were in attendance were in awe of everything. The team played a decent game. I didnt expect it to get as far out of hand as it did but other than that it went as expected.

I haven't seen the crowd like that in a while. That is the way I remember Neyland from when I was in school there. I enjoyed it for 3.5 qtrs.

When you completely abandon the run you'll always get your ass kicked. We were getting 9 yds a pop and decide to just stop running it.

they were loading the box. you can't block 9 guys when running.

I think we could have run some screens. did we run any screen passes?

i was proud of the fans. after the the punt return people started to leave but it was understandable. They knew we couldn't come back from that. I think we'll play better against florida.

anyone else not like the three te sets? just seems like that formation is going to be easy to defend, sure they passed out of it but for the most part they ran. thats going to allow teams to stack the box. that formation will not work against top flight teams. i challenge anyone to point out a team that is successful in these type of formations (3 te sets). got to open it up or sec defenses will shut the offense down and the defense will be on the field 3/4 of the season.

I think you guys are my SEC team from now on.
Lots of potential on your team. Oku will undoubtedly be a progressing beast.

The lightening storm delay was crazy. Would have been cool to just see the teams play through it for exta epic-ness.

Dooley + Wicox will definitely mold this UT team into a force within a year or two. Look forward to seeing the Vols play, and ABSOLUTELY hope we Ducks can serve penance by beating the Kiffin Condoms at the Coliseum this October.

I was very suprised as well. I stay until the end of evey game no matter the outcome and there was a suprising amount of fans still there when the game was over. Also I was suprised that not many boos came from the stands when it started getting ugly.

I get the feeling you won't have much of a problem with USC.

Monte Kiffin was pathetic against spread offenses
while at UT. You guys are like hi-octane-spread. I hope you hang at least 49 on em'.

Enjoyed the duck fans I got seated in the middle of in GG. Mostly had class and a lot of passion. I guarantee we screamed on every UO offensive play until the final scrub drive. A great game to be at excepting the results of the 2nd half of course. GBO. :p

Had a great time in section S. It was loud and everyone around us were really into the game. Had an Oregon father and son sitting next to us and the teenager kept taking pics and movies of the stadium with his phone.it was an awesome atmosphere... And i'll say that most of the duck fans were courteous and I saw our fans treating them courteously.

Regarding leaving early: please keep in mind that it rained off and on pretty much the whole game AND we had a 70 minute delay thrown in there too. My wife and I stayed till almost end of 4th but I saw a lot of families leaving earlier. Can't blame em too much.

In conclusion... Great crowd, great first half.
