Thought it was worth sharing. Pretty impressive.
Same. All these upgrades are nice and long overdue. But Im sick of seeing the ugly scaffolding from the outside of the stadium. It makes the stadium look unfinished! Danny, PLEASE make that the next priority!I'm ready for them to start beautifying the outside facade on the south side. Cover up the erecor set look. That's the view from the river that they love showing on TV, so it would be nice to get the brick cladding and archways done over there like they showed in the plan. And that plaza, if they ever go through with it. Is that the final piece of the renovation? When is it scheduled to be complete? @LWSVOL @Stoerner Fumbles?
I get the sentiment, but you have to admin Neyland is one of the oldest and rustiest looking stadiums in the SEC. It was time for a few upgrades and a facelift.Had me worried. Thought this was about further downgrades to take out more seating. Gotta have bells and whistles to attract the XBox generation as they don't come for the football.
Those troughs have been faithful servants over the many decades. Hopefully everyone here gets to experience it at least once in their lifetime. Rule #1...eyes straight ahead at all times (or maybe staring at your own feet). The fact that they removed the piss troughs and are celebrating speaks volumes to how disconnected the administration is with the fanbase. I will be wearing my "BRING BACK THE PISS TROUGHS" shirt (printed on both sides) to every home game. Danny White is taking this program in the wrong direction.
I always hated when them 80 year olds felt the need to have their pants down to their knees at the troughs. I’m like really man?? C’mon! “I don’t even want my jello after seeing what I just saw” some if you will get the movie referenceThose troughs have been faithful servants over the many decades. Ah, I see. I haven't been to a Tennessee game in at least a couple of years, so I really don't know what all construction is going on.No Im not talking about temporary construction crew scaffolding. I'm talking about the scaffolding that makes up the exterior of the stadium itself (the "erector set" design).
