The UT Federal Credit Union Pilot Oil Bowl. Brought to you by Dolly Parton Enterprise.

I'll vote for Clayton Mobile Homes Bowl...but only if Bonnie Lou & Buster perform at halftime (apologies to y'all under 50 years of age). Presuming this is a facetious thread, I'll only add to the frivolity. GO VOLS!

There's no way they come close to filling Neyland with that match-up.

The Pilot Oil Bowl is a good choice. Should be a lower tier SEC type bowl though. I also like the Volunteer Bowl presented by Pilot, Food City or Ruby Tuesday. Those are all prominent local businesses right ?

I have seen talk on TOS that Neyland Stadium could start hosting a Big East V. WAC bowl matchup beginning in 2011.

Dollywood and PilotOil are bidding to get their name on the bowl.

So question is which name do you think is less embarrasing and do you think this is a good idea???

I laughed out loud when I read that! It's exactly what I was thinking!!

I didn't think they could have an SEC match-up because Tennessee is in the SEC..

Haha would be unfair if we ended up in that bowl.. Unfair for the other team..

Boise State and Hawaii both have played in bowl games at their home stadiums in the last few yrs

if they named it the rod wilkes is your daddy bowl, it would sell more tickets than it has the capacity for by a lot.

This is a terrible idea, especially if there were a WAC team involved. There's a reason why most of the early bowl games are in 40,000 seat stadiums. You could have a decent turnout and Neyland would still look empty.

But if it happens, it has to be the Pilot Smoky Mountain Bowl. Corporate sponsorship + regional tourism.
