Neyland to host Bowl game in 2011?

I have seen talk on TOS that Neyland Stadium could start hosting a Big East V. WAC bowl matchup beginning in 2011.

Dollywood and PilotOil are bidding to get their name on the bowl.

So question is which name do you think is less embarrasing and do you think this is a good idea???:crazy:

Revenue is revenue. If true this would be a good thing. Anything that puts money into UT's pockets. I would go with PilotOil since Haslam is the biggest booster UT has. Can you find a legitimate link that has this story?

I believe Knoxville is an attractive site for a bowl. Downtown is really up and coming, you have the Smokeys, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge nearby as an attraction. Also TN has obviously invested alot of $ to renovate Neyland and make it a great place to see a game so it makes sence for them to want to bring $$ in to make up for that investment.

I searched for a link but it doesn't look like anything official is out there yet.

Hawaii plays in the Hawaii bowl almost every year, and Boise St. usually plays a bowl game in their stadium unless they go to a BCS game.
