Neyland Thread (read)

Actually, I still think that they (CBS) will select Auburn/LSU as the 3:30 game because it is in Auburn and will have Tennessee/Florida at night.

I'm almost always right about gametimes.

We'll see.

I hope you're right, but I can't remember the last time that CBS didn't cover the UT-FLA game.

I don't like CBS game anyways, too many commercials, and even though I will be there, it will suck just as much because commercial breaks just take the life out of the game sometimes. I want this game to be a night game, so much more enjoyable!

There is no way the UT-FLA game won't be on CBS. I think the Tebow factor will put this game in the primetime slot.

Never thought of that but you are probably right. ESPN and CBS both will try and build Tebows heisman campaign and we are more than likely Florida's toughest road game so I wouldn't be surprised if gameday isn't there as well. Primetime in Neyland against Florida it doesn't get much better than that.

Been to every home Florida game since '94 and this year will be no different. Might make the 'bama game if we're in contention.

And a respectful request... I doubt this will apply to most on this board, but just in case... if you are the type of fan that sits on your hands or gives the golf clap, please sell your ticket to the florida game to one of your rowdy loud friends and watch the game from your couch. We need Neyland to be hostile, this year more than ever. If there is justice in the world we will give payback for last year's debacle.

I hope UT-Florida's on Lincoln Financial. Their camaras are so clear and a 1 pm game at Neyland in September would be so pleasant.

so I was just wondering what exactly the point of this thread is except to get us excited for games in Neyland?

*Sigh* Impossible. ESPN won't have the right. There is a CBS Double Header that day, Tennessee will either play at 3:30 or 8:00/8:30.

More than likely the night game on CBS.

someone said there is not a double header on CBS that day. It was in a past Gametime thread for the UF game. I couldn't find anything about it though.

If CBS only has one game, I can't see them passing on Tennessee/Florida for LSU/Auburn on the Plains.

I can't either, that is why I believe it will be a 3:30 game, unfortunately. I would rather it be a night game on any channel rather than 3:30
