Hey guys, im doing a research paper for one of my classes and i was wondering if anybody had some info. First off, does anyone know what the actaul capacity is after these latest renovations? Also, does anyone know where i can find info on the construction of Neyland, pounds of steel used, how long it took, etc etc. Thanks all and GBO

I would try looking up who is doing the construction. Alot of the time construction companies are real proud when they are contracted to do a high profile job like Neyland so I am sure they wouldn't mind helping you with that info

I had thought about that, but i was more interested in the original construction of Neyland. And i dont know if a construction company from 1919 would still be around lol

Buy the book "An End of an Era" by Clay Travis. All information about the construction of the stadium is detailed in the book. He also explains that the reason the Vols decided to wear that particular color of Orange is because that is the color of the flowers that grew on the hill when the stadium was constructed

I haven't read it yet, but I've heard it's a great book.

You might be able to check online for the university of tennessee library archives. That should have some info as well
