I am looking at some box seat tickets. Are these the seat right behind the bleacher seats? Are these the seat that are regular chair back chairs that can be moved with plenty of leg room? if not can any give me some info on these seats. What is the view like in box seat selection. Thanks

I have never been a fan of box seats. I'm sure others on here can give you more information about them though.

the box seats are the ones opposite the press box. i think the ones that just have backs on them are just for the season ticket holders.

perhaps if you gave a section and row we could help more. otherwise, it's difficult to tell if you're talking about the first few rows of the upper deck or the seats under the east and west (done this year?) pressboxes

Yeah, depends on the section. If it's lower level box seats, they are the last two rows in the lower level, under the overhang in the endzones, or they are in the lower level sidelines about 20 rows from the field. Just depends on the section.

If they are upper deck sections, they are the first two rows of the upper deck.

Usually "Box Seats" are those permanant fold down seats. They are pretty comfy unless you are a big person. If you are too wide, there is no way to be comfortable in them. If they are the upper deck boxes, the views are great. If they are the sideline lower level, the views and atmosphere is fantastic. If they are the lower level endzone sections, they aren't as nice, but you are in the dry, you have the TV hanging down which shows you every replay, and you are close to bathrooms and concessions. The drawback is you aren't out in the atmosphere as much and when the action is on the other end of the field, it's a looooong way from you.

I've sat in lower level endzone boxes....two rows behind the sidline lower level boxes, and I now sit about 3 rows behind the upper deck endzone boxes. My mom sat in the sideline boxes once, so I know what I'm talking about. :good!:

Hey all,

I'm about to buy some box seats section Q row B. Does anybody know if these are any good? I see from the diagram and the description says it's on the 5 yard line. I first thought these were considered club level seats but now I'm not so sure. VolzRChamps has a pretty detailed post and I'm assuming that I'm on the top of the lower level in the least liked section but it still doesn't sound too bad. What are your thoughts? Thanks!

Its the section to the right(if your looking at it) of the tunnel the Vols come out of.

Section M is in the endzone where the visiting team runs out of the tunnel. It is right of the tunnel, yes, just the opposite tunnel you are referring to. It is also the endzone where the Pride sits.

We sat in P in Row B of the Box seats a few seasons ago. (04) They are good seats. They are NOT club level seats. If you have other been walking around the top part of the lower level endzones, you will notice just above the top row of bench seating, there are two rows of flip down chair back seats in a "box". They are the box seats you are buying. They are ultimately the LAST row of the lower level, but are built up above the bench seats. The overhang kind of restricts the feeling that you are "in the lower level", but you can see the whole field and you have the tv screens hanging down infront of you which show everything that the jumbotron shows. There are even hanging scoreboards around the rim there so you can see the score, etc.

Depending on your age, you may be able to easily climb out of those boxes and be right at a concesion stand and bathrooms. You won't miss much of the game, that's for sure.

Enjoy your seats, there is NOTHING like seeing the Big Orange!!!

Thanks guys for the information. I just won 6 on ebay for $167.50. Hopefully that is a pretty good deal, it's just UAB but pay-per-view would have cost $50 anyways.

That is an outstanding deal no matter where the seats are.
