I agree due to being bias. Makes me sick too see all those empty seats. Last year at the Ole Miss game I just looked around & could not believe how many open seats there were. On a positive note I obtained lower level seats on the 40 for face value, best seats I ever had. G.B.O. lets fill this place back up!!!!!!!

While I am proud to have the #1 stadium in the country (according to one persons opinion) Some of those facts are wrong. We no longer are over 102,000 offical capacity and we are no longer the biggest stadium in the SEC Alabama is.

And you will be pleased to know that you are wrong on both counts.

Surprising facts to me:

1. Ohio State doesn't have field lights - they bring in special ones for night games
2. Michigan is playing their first ever night game this year
3. Tennessee has made a bid for the World Cup

I wish they would use pictures of the stadium's new brick work in these stadium lists.

I hated the exposed steel.

I remember when they use to run through the T from the side. Before they added on to the stadium i went to the 1978 Tennessee & Alabama game and there was people sitting on the side of the hill in the corner of the north endzone.Great stadium to watch a game.

This 2004 SI article agrees....Neyland #1....but look who's #25....not bad for a small school.

25. MONTANA
The darkhorse choice. In Missoula, site of A River Runs Through It, fans sip Moose Drool and Trout SlayerAle while tailgating along the Clark Fork River. Grizzly Stadium hosts the I-AA powerhouse as well as Monte, a motorcycle-riding, break-dancing bear named National Mascot of the Year in 2003.
