Neyland Stadium concession prices

Baha he tried. He said, “you want the smaller, 2.5 lb, right?”

I said na, we want the big one. I didn’t expect the big one to be $130 lol

I think $6.99 is too much for the big bowl of cheese at the Mexican place.

they have free water fountains, if you are drinking anything but water or maybe a powerade you are just dehyrdating your body. your body uses water to breakdown the sugar and other stuff in the drinks. stick to water if you want to hydrate.

Soft drinks are about 95% water so I'm using that water to break down the sugar.

Dang that’s high. It’s normally like $4.99
You gave up your right to say anything about pricing when you posted that check.

We installed a propane tank and a gas heater one winter and did it ever keep that old house nice and toasty. After we got the 1st gas bill, we all went back to wearing long johns.

I don't understand the inconsistency with refill policy on soft drinks. I went to one concession counter for several games and I could only get one refill on a $7 soft drink. After a few games, I went to one on the next level up and they said "come back and get as many refills as you want, we don't charge our section for refills". When it's a 105 degrees in the stands and your sweating a gallon a hour, going broke trying to stay hydrated is blanking ridiculous.

I heard that sitting on your couch watching the game and eating a nice steak dinner is pretty nice..... Don't have to worry about that 105 degree weather.

Agreed. I decided after the last September game I went to I was going to pass on any future free tickets for that month.

Not to mention the total destruction of the once tasty Smokey Dog. If they are going to charge this, at least include the Gulden's mustard. There is nothing else needed.
How many years has it been since they replaced the old Smokey Dog. I know it was more than 7 but I can't quite remember.

If I am being honest this is a huge part of why I do not take the family to games nearly as frequently as I used to. Going the cheapest way possible and only staying in K town one night will cost me in excess of a 1,000.00 bucks.

Sporting events are no longer a reasonable use of discretionary funds for many families. I would love to take my son to a game and still might, but it turns into a huge expense. Gas is expensive, Tickets are expensive, parking is expensive, & good luck sitting through 4 qtrs w/ a kid and not going to concession stand.

Where do you stay? Several motels, hotels and condos that are nice $100-200 a night in Pigeon Forge only 20-30 minutes away. I have stayed several times at Music Road Inn for around $150.00 or less a night.

Have they gone up this year? Anyone know? Reason I ask is my friend took her dad and brother to fan day and said for 3 hot dogs and 3 waters was charged 27$. That is absolutely ridiculous.
That is to encourage people to bring their own concessions in a pint bottle

“Pay these prices and pay no more” was their polite way of telling you not to tip the concessions attendant.
Is this customary? I'm always mindful to tip at a restaurant, yet never thought about giving a tip at concessions.

They got no imagination. If they served announced mini versions of what the team ate for lunch or dinner they had day before the game, or pre-game meal if late evening or night game, fans would go ape over it. Or the meal they will have after the game. Served in, you know, like, Corelle Livingware divided dish servings. Maybe even experiment with vegan dishes to see if the more health-focused would snap it up. If so add it as regular fare choice. Strip the lean meat off bacon and add it to one end of the hot dogs making it look like the dog has a tail. Offer bite-sized dry and wet Memphis barbequed chicken (or beef) for less messy eating using plastic forks. What about orange flavored ice cream? Yes, the stuff does exist:

1. Orange Ice Cream - Joyofbaking.com *Video Recipe*
2. We love this recipe because it is dairy free and includes whole fruit!

Like the Dooley thing, no one listens to me so they will make less money than they could otherwise.
This is why we need a dislike button that you don't have to like first to get to use.

Its not just the hotel. Its the tickets, food and drink, hotel, and fuel. I live 6 hours away so I cant really drive in for the game and drive home.
