Neyland remodel

We need a remodel bad. The seating is absolutely miserable. I'm young and the last time I've been was the 18 orange and white game by halftime my back hurt so bad I left. But even before the pandumbic fulmer announced it was postponed. I doubt at this point at his age fulmer gets to see it through. The program is going to have to get rolling before they spend a few 100 mil

At one time I saw a concept drawing of a section beyond the end zone at ground level behind a glass wall.

I’m kinda torn on downsizing. We’ve got 100k+ why downsize now? Then again, I do understand the reasoning. Only thing I want to see done is a revamp of our PA system- that thing is awful.

PA and sound system was completely redone prior to this season. Made a big difference.

Seriously though. I want to stay above 100k, just out of nostalgia and opposing players from around college football have talked about the noise level in our stadium.

However, I also really hate the bleacher seats. I always try to be in what we call "seatbacks" when I go to a game. So to do that in every seat, we would have to reduce capacity.

The walls in the south endzone are too close to the field. The proposal was to remove some of the lower rows and replacing them with a field level viewing lounge which would also add more space between the field.

Moving that wall in the engine needs to be one of the first things they do. It’s amazing that there hasn’t been a serious injury to a WR going to one of the corners.

Auburn is also surprisingly loud. For a big game when they're doing well, that place is intense.

I concur. The loudest outdoor stadium (other than Neyland In the 90’s) I’ve ever been in. Loudest ever? 1986 Sugar Bowl vs. Miami inside NOLA’s then Super Dome.

A lot of industries are going to be rebranding and moving in new directions to attract patrons, as we move forward. The seating and especially the east concourses are pretty close to inexcusable, in this age. I think a move to comfort, a modest reduction in capacity, and improved gameday experience would be the most prudent course. Actual seats that accommodate a grown human, room to walk, bathrooms they aren't disgusting, jumbotron in the north, . . . Just thinking out loud.

Anybody willing to take pics when they start taking the bleachers out & take pics throughout that phase for those who don’t reside in proximity of the stadium?
