My first game. Sat in section T Row 20. An older gentleman sold the tickets to me and my dad for 12 bucks each. 101st Airborn parachuted in at halftime during God Bless the USA. Eric Still was absolutely roadgrading.

Section KK, Row 8. You could see the holes open up all afternoon. Ole Miss knew they could not do anything to stop Webb that afternoon. Thanks for the memories.

I remember listening to this game sitting on the tailgate of one of my friends truck at a church retreat. Sitting there looking at the beauty of nature and the lake just made it a special memory, and I can still hear John Wards voice echoing off lake. Man he could paint a picture with his voice unlike any one before him

I tried to find some info about him now. He did an interview in 2016 where he said he asked UT for help and was turned down. Same article said he injured his back in a car accident.
