I forgot to mention my favorite part of the presser. He said they were going to coach them on how to speak to their professors, coach them in how to take notes, coach them on being gentlemen, coach them in every facet of life. I HATE it when athletes sound like idiots when being interviewed. I hope they follow through with that promise.

Don't know about that.
Turns out there is more Orange in my blood than I thought.

You can't keep a good man down. Let's ride, Doyle.

I'm not thrilled, either, but I'm a Vol, and a Vol I'll be. If I ever needed a blood transfusion, I'd be a dead man. That stuff they give you is a little too red.

Anyone else sorta nervous we just hired us a Will Muschamp. Probably gonna get flamed for it but that is the vibe I get. He seems to have the same personality and coaching style as a defensive cord as Muchamp did. That did not translate well to HC. I hope I am reading it wrong and he goes great here.

Good morning! glad to see familiar names still floating around.....All in all after a day or 2 of thinking it over, CJP was not CJG that we all wanted, with that being said I firmly believe he will be 1000% better than Botch Please, I am impressed with the staff so far they can recruit that's for sure and great recruiting can cover up inexperience.

Now for the good stuff, I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad we finally have a coach that talks the same red neck southern draw lingo that I do, I am glad we have a coach that is not scared to admit " We expect to win every game" I am glad we have a coach that said " If my name is on it, I will answer for it.

I like the NO BS approach and look forward to seeing what the future holds

The same Muschamp that failed at Florida, but has been doing pretty good at USCe?

That guy?

Y’all, not all alabama people are bad. They are just misguided. I grew up in Bama, spent most of my childhood and went to college at a small school in Birmingham before coming to UT for grad school. Spent a year teaching accounting and met several of the players in my class and within a few months was a die hard Vol fan. Still am, obviously.

My point is football is football anywhere. UT has the best fans and atmosphere that sucks people in and makes them want to stay. I speak from experience.

Now that I’ve aired my dirty laundry background, y’all will probably run me off, but my point is don’t be scared off because he is a Bama boy. Give him some time. He obviously loves football as much as we do. I have a feeling we will rub off on him and his family pretty dad gum quickly. Aight?

And I was just starting to like you...lol
We are not scared of folks from 'bama.....we just really dont like them...

I think Pruit will do well here...really we cant go any lower here....
Never thought I would ever see TN have the worst team in the SEC

Hey Squints, we got another VFL member in the household too. Congrats brother! Mines 5 days old

Last i checked SC went 8-4 this year. not too bad. 2nd in the east. I think Muschamp at FL was a bad fit, he will do OK at SC.

Congrats to you, brother. That picture was from Oct. 23, 2015. He was still at the hospital (Parkwest), but we were released later that evening to take him home. I just couldn't resist sharing him with you fine people, and him in his first UT outfit. He's already saying, "Go Vols!" My wife and I are very proud parents and couldn't be more blessed.

I almost think it's going to have to be a 4-3 year next year until the proper players get recruited into the system and get spun up. That's the problem with what Sunseri did in 2012. He didn't have the proper players and forced the change.

Unless Pruitt and company signs a bunch of JUCOs that can run it.

The right guy doesn't have to suffer like Sunseri. Aranda did it at LSU without a huge hiccup.

Good morning everyone!

Two inches on the ground, forecast for 3-6" here in Asheville.

Now that I work from home, I'm trying to figure out how to claim a snow day.
Love Asheville. My son worked at the Biltmore Estate for a couple of years and we visited quite often. He lived between Swannanoa River Rd and Tunnel Rd. down from Hooters. Glad we are just supposed to get flurries here in Mid Tn Cookeville area.
Good luck on your snow day. Guy i used to work with called in one day and said he had eye problems: He just couldn't see himself coming in to work . That did not go over well.
