Good morning everyone!

Two inches on the ground, forecast for 3-6" here in Asheville.

Now that I work from home, I'm trying to figure out how to claim a snow day.

Coach Pruitt calling everyone out to step up, look forward, and do your part. Let's start locking down them recruits! Oh and notice how he said you have to be flexible and play your best players... the ANTI-butch...

WOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

Ignore button activated.

I miss Richmond. I lived in the Far West End off Gaskins Road way back when there was hardly anything but a few homes.....it’s so beautiful there too.

It’s a great city. We live in the extreme west end of Henrico, about 1000yards from the goochland line, not too far from gaskins. They are developing more and more each day.

The only problem is I can’t find a decent UT bar for games. There are lots of gators, dawgs, and bammers here, but very few Vol fans.

Good morning all!

**Edit** These are Alabama people to the bone. They will adjust and learn to love the color orange and Tennessee football. We are contagious...in a good way! Go Vols!!!

Honestly, if we can get Vince Dooley to wear orange, anyone can be convinced to wear orange.

Summary from TOS of recent happenings:

From TOS:

Brent Hubbs War Room Summary.

All staff was let go except Gillespie.

JP was in his office after 11 pm evaluating current players and commits.

Sherrer looks like he's going to be DC next year. Chris Rumph is Pruitt's choice for DL coach, but he has spoken to Tracy Rocker as well.

Brian McClendon is a possibility for WR coach. He currently holds the same position at South Carolina. He is their interim OC for the bowl game. He obviously gets a chance to fight for that job himself, but Muschamp might turn to Eliah Drinkwitz.

Rush Probst is a possibility to come on staff in some capacity.

Austin Thomas still has a chance to come on board. Hubbs believes he wants to, but LSU will do everything they can to keep him. Brian Neidermeyer from Alabama is on board.

No Haslams were at the press conference.

Bob Shoop is in line to become DC at Mississippi St.

Walt Wells is looking Big 10.

Thigpen may be in play at UNC.

Warren may look SEC East.

Canales is trying to get to BYU.

Bob Welton may stay in the current UT AD in a different role.

John Currie met with Chad Morris last week. He left the meeting three times and then told Morris he thinks he may get fired lol. He also met with Chip Kelly last month, but Kelly said he had no interest.

He brushed boosters and fellow employees off about the search.

Greg Schiano was about to get on the plane to Knoxville when his offer got pulled.

Fulmer also met with Mike Norvell.

JP's plan for the program and staff was what ultimately sold Fulmer.

Look, I know it didn't end up being Gruden, but with the staff he's already assembled and the things he said at the press conference, I believe we'll be in the SEC championship in year 3.

I know we have reservations about him being a bummer, but the guy just seems fired up, and he's been around successful programs to know how to run one.

Ah, that’s a gorgeous area. Sounds like you’re close to Short Pump. Reppin’ the T in wahoo country, I love it.

Would love to have gotten Tosh Lupoi.

But for Pete's sake! Go get Jay Graham in some capacity! Director of Recruiting or something!

Y’all, not all alabama people are bad. They are just misguided. I grew up in Bama, spent most of my childhood and went to college at a small school in Birmingham before coming to UT for grad school. Spent a year teaching accounting and met several of the players in my class and within a few months was a die hard Vol fan. Still am, obviously.

My point is football is football anywhere. UT has the best fans and atmosphere that sucks people in and makes them want to stay. I speak from experience.

Now that I’ve aired my dirty laundry background, y’all will probably run me off, but my point is don’t be scared off because he is a Bama boy. Give him some time. He obviously loves football as much as we do. I have a feeling we will rub off on him and his family pretty dad gum quickly. Aight?

I am behind him 100%, not complaining, just trying to ease the minds of folks on the thread. :)
