Thanks for the response. I saw Beaver's posts. Lots of respect for coming back in. I kinda always thought of him as a paid lobbyist (with TN roots). This whole thread was so intriguing! I am most curious about UTVolinExile - what happened when he fell off the board and never returned-mainly cuz I leaned on his posts a lot - curious if I completely misread, but not angry, just curious. I posted a long time ago that it's an open forum; the onus is on the reader to choose what to believe. I wanted Gruden, but it was not to be, and quite honestly, when UT won the national title, my life didn't actually change a bit! Bottom line, I've LOVED this thread! Wasted way too much time, but got a lot of laughs, saved a lot of great gifs, loved the people - never get on the FF (only RF) unless it was a Gruden thread. Thanks everybody! Go Vols!

I'm not sure about UTVolnExile, I'm sure others here know something but I haven't heard ... I actually think there were 2 of them, 1's still around, or was

I'm pretty excited about CJP. I think he'll do well. Getting the kids on board and excited will help our team a ton - they had quit on CBJ this year.

I do love that old school southern flair though. His accent is definitely Deep South/Alabama/Georgia. Sounds like he stepped out of Gone with the Wind. In Tennessee we have a more Appalachian/Hillbilly flair. Definitely going to enjoy his press conferences more than the past 9 years.

After I asked him how he felt about Pruitt in the meeting...

Yeah, first thing he said was he is gonna meet with each one of us to set goals... i liked that a lot

Finally got to watch the presser.

I like when he started getting revved up he went into football coach preacher mode! I'm cautiously optimistic. Staff means everything to this hire. Being a first time HC it could overwhelm him quickly, especially with the wrong people.
