Nothing against Phillip. In my estimation the best AD's long term would have business/management backgrounds Athletic experience is a big plus. Coach is an interesting mix having consulted since his coaching days, helped ETSU restart their football program and now having assisted the President at UT. I think Currie(I probably shouldn't say the name) had the business side of things in good shape so I don't think Coach has any immediate concerns.

Thx. I'm still in the 'why do we never get our first choice' mode. Nothing against Fulmer, it just seems like we're always in stop gap maneuvers and told to 'get behind it'.

I suppose the arrows point to the same stranglehold of Haslam.

Currie was Haslam's choice. Haslam gets what he wants, usually. We'll see how that works moving forward.

On another note I'm glad everyone is joining me and putting actual photos of themselves as their avatars.

Thanks to everyone who has helped make the last month so interesting and downright entertaining for us previous lurkers. Will now have more time to turn attention to the basketball teams who are off to great starts. GBO

Anyone have a link to the press conference stream on Utsports? I cant seem to find it on the utsports website.

What style?

It's not a specific style, but Russ Abbott at Ink and Dagger is my artist. You should check him out if you are ever in Atlanta, his shop is amazing.
He did a quarter sleeve on my left arm and incorporated my large scar on my upper arm into the tattoo. He did a half sleeve on my right arm about 5 years ago. It is Edgar Allan Poe themed. He is finishing it out with imagery from Oakland Cemetery (in Atlanta) and combining the two. We used to sneak in and play there when I was a kid. Yes it's weird, but it was awesome.

I have done 11 hours on it so far and probably have about 12 to go.

BTW based on interviews with media folks today on WNML that know Pruitt, don't expect a lot of personality to come across in the presser. He is a no nonsense kind of guy and probably won't be real talkative. Nothing like our Grand Vol :)

Anybody else watching the intro presser? Bev is at the podiums and is so painfully awkward.
