Oh, I’m covered. Two full sleeves, a thigh, a finger, and my stomach. They’re talking about the stomach tattoo: I have “I’m your huckleberry” with a pistol on my hip.

Well I am a newbie to tats. Have a little under a half sleeve. Plan to add more later. Nothin too deep. Just tribal.

The Dawg fans I'm surrounded by are pretty much laughing and saying "good luck with the coach we couldn't wait to get rid of."

Officially official now...

Dec. 7th, the day that Japan bombed Pearl Harbor. I hope this hire doesn't bomb our program. I just can't get excited about this hire, yet. We shall see.

We are Neylanders!

Heard Tyson Helton is a candidate is a candidate for OC, which will cause a meltdown

While most fans (myself included) would love to have Tee here, here is why Helton coming is probably best for everybody. It is my belief that Tee wants a Power 5 head coaching job sooner rather than later. Him splitting play-calling duties hinders that. He has 2 options. Leave now for a lesser HC spot (South Alabama for example), or be 100% the playcaller and OC. If he were to come here as OC, he would face an offense with it’s obvious warts. If Helton comes here, he would assume primary OC duties at a much more stable spot allowing him to pad his resume and increase his stock.

Helton, on the other hand is a QB coach and has been responsible for the rise of Darnold. We NEED a qb coach in the worst way!!!

So as much as I would love to see Tee come home, I don’t think it’s the right time and Helton coming here at this point is a win-win for all parties involved.

Just my opinion, of course.

Posts like this are why the ridicule you face will never go away, and rightfully so.

Many of us would’ve loved Gruden. It’s time to move on with life rather than support a single person over the program.

From the 'Bama board - just posting because :

"Re: Tennessee is officially offered Pruitt
IMO, we will find out quickly if the marriage between Pruitt and Fulmer can succeed. I would guess that JP demanded full control and specific resources in writing; and if anyone will insist on those promises being kept, it is JP. Hiring his own OC seems to indicate that is what he did. IMO, he will not stand for Fulmer or anyone else to interfere in any way. He's the type to literally tell Fulmer or Haslam to get out of his office if they get in his way. It's hard to know anything for sure when an asst is promoted to HC, but JP is driven, very smart, confident, ruthless and puts up with no nonsense. He is not polished and his people skills are sometimes lacking, though he does seem to have matured a bit. He will likely have a terrible record next year, but indications of a brighter future will probably be seen by the end of the year. It would not be a surprise if he is successful, though Fulmer could blow it if he is as stupid as some here think. I doubt it because IMO his first hire was a very good one. I'm sad."

Sounds like a defensive, southern version of Kiffin.

I really want to be excited for this coach. I do. But, I just can’t be right now. I want this coach to prove that he belongs here first before I commit anymore money. I know I’m just one person, but I, along with others, have given a lot of money and time to this university. Sigh
