I heard it while watching on ESPN, but I had no idea it was THAT bad. That video should be shown to anyone trying to defend keeping Fulmer.

I was there just above the tunnel where bama ran through...so I got to hear it up close and watch them celebrating. 10-4 last since 1995 against Tennessee. They better celebrate while they can....because over the past 14 years we've been doing the celebrating. We beat them 7 years in a row (95~01)
Rammer Jammer you suck alabammer.

And that is reason number 1 that Fulmer should be gone. Never ever should Neyland be taken over by the opposing teams fans. If Mike Hamilton and the money people can't see whats really happening then hold on...'cause it will only get worse. 40+ years of going to Neyland and watching on TV and I've never seen anything like that. 1st there was not 106,000 in the stands....tops 95,000 and at least 30-35% were Bama fans. Pathetic.

PREACH IT BROTHER!!!!

our "fans" should be ashamed to have let that happen. It was the alabama game!!!! I drove 4 hours each way to watch it. I sat in the cold the entire game. My voice is GONE...still.

BTW/ anybody that has anything remotely left for Fulmer...should watch this...it really is sickening. And no not one Vol fan should be ashamed of selling they're tickets. This is not the "fans" fault in any way...this is all on the Athletic administration, boosters and Fulmer. Be mad at them...they are the ones who are letting this happen. End of story.

That looks as bad as how we take over Vanderbilt Stadium every other year.

Well, except this year maybe.

Oh...My....God...I had no idea there were that many Bama fans there...That's insane...Shame on the UT fans for allowing that to happen...Reminds me of when Nebraska played AT Notre Dame some years back, It looked like a home game for Nebraska...Disgusting

I don't know who all these people were that sold their tickets to Bama fans, but clearly a lot of UT fans did. I haven't talked to, or read on this board of anyone who did give their tickets to Bama fans.

I don't blame anyone for selling their tickets to anyone that will buy them. Obviously there wasn't much of a market among Vol fans. You pay the kind of money required for season tickets gives you the right to recoup a small amount of your "investment" any way you can.

Seems there are a LOT of fans who only support UT when they are a winning program, When they are struggling like this year is like they don't even matter anymore...Makes me sad inside but I know that I can nor will EVER be that way, i've been through rough years and good years so I have lived through both and still love my team...And always will...Screw the bandwagoneers...I hope they never get into another UT game in life

Part of the issue is not just people selling tickets to Bama fans, but UT and UA have a long standing agreement on the ticket allotments. I am not sure what the exact numbers are, but I do know that we give and receive a larger allotment of tickets for this particular game every year than for other SEC games. While that will not make enough of a difference to explain what happened Saturday night it is part of it.

There's nothing better to a Bama fan, then to come into the "rats" house and take over. The was just terrible, hope that was the final straw for the boosters and Hamilton

This was absolutely pathetic. I watched the UGA game on TV two weeks ago and after being at the BAMA game this is unheard of. Some people were leaving midway the 3rd quarter but with 7 minutes Neyland stadium looked really pathetic. I have now become a member of the "FIRE FULMER" and even the offensive coordinator fan club. A Vol fan setting next to me even said that it was terrible when we had 3rd and 1 or 3rd and two we couldn't get a 1st down on a pass. I totally agreed. The offense and offensive line were sickening! How many games that we have left are winnable? Probably the Wyoming game. Can be beat Vandy or UK? Will the final record be 4-8 or 5-7. I don't see us beating 'the old ball coach' in Columbia (that would make UT 3-6) with Wyoming, UK and Vandy left.
This is the second time I've been to a game we have lost (I come about every 3 or 4 years). The last loss I saw was Vandy 2 or 3 years ago. I didn't think we had a chance but if the offense would have played better and a few less breaks by Bama it may have been closer.
I always think that any college team that is a top 5 team in the country always seem to get the breaks-90% of the time. Check it out over the last few years and you'll see I right. For instance-Nebraska getting a 5th down against Missouri a few years back. UT the year we won the NC, didn't we get a few calls (even in the Syracuse & Florida game-even though early in the season) our way-especially in the Arkansas game.
Regardless of how our Vols play, I'm still a loyal Vol fan. Hire on a new coach after the end of the regular season-just before bowl bids go out and have them do recruiting with the new leadership. I think we have to hire on a fairly well known name. It doesn't have to be one of the top names though. I've heard one name brought to mind and that is the current coach at OK State or even the coach at Boise St. Any suggestions?
GO VOLS!
Can't wait for hoops season!:dance2:
