7-5 not too bad for a first year with several lackluster recruiting classes filling the roster. I really think UCLA and SC will be toss ups so I split them 1-1. UGA could be a winnable game depending on who they lose to the NFL draft. Ole Miss looks really strong, which is why I gave them the nod.

8-4 against that schedule. Maybe 9-3 at the very best, thats providing we find someone who can play qb for us.

Wish we (Bama) could play Ole Miss after you folks so we could learn from how you beat 'em. Bama's '09 SEC schedule is easier than '08 (drop Georgia; add USCe); but IMO Ole Miss in Oxford is Bama's most likely loss.

We've learned in a bad way that anything is possible, but I have a hard time believing that UCLA is going to come to Knoxville and win.

8-4. We'll win one of the big three games. Not sure which one, but we're due a bad game from one of them, and if we have a competent offense we're good enough to beat one of them on an off-day for them.

Also lose to Auburn (much better talent than they showed in '08) and Ole Miss.

That's the way I see it as well. But I am wavering on the Ole Miss game.

7-8 wins is acceptable, but I think people are underestimating what we currently have. With simply solid quarterback play and a similar defensive effort we could improve dramatically. If UGA loses Stafford and Moreno they will be vulnerable, and Bama could lose four fifths of their dominant offesive line and a four year starter at QB. Tebow might even go. It's entirely possible Ole Miss could win the SEC. I'm not predicting an SEC title for UT next year, but the SEC is definitely in flux. Who knows what could happen with a little bit of luck. It was down this year and it will probably be down as much or more next year.

I dont know, with the hire of Monte, and also the news that Orgeron is coming the defense next year could be bar none. So I honestly could see if losing maybe only one or two games.

I like your optimism. I would love to see us beat Florida in the swamp but I am not so sure it will happen. I believe it was announced that tebow would return for his senior year as well.
That would really be great though if we could beat florida in the swamp with tebow in his senior year.
