Any early predictions for next years class?

Do we have a lot of in-state talent projected for next year?

What positions are critical for filling up next year?

marlon brown 6'5'' wr from memphis is believed to be the top prospect in TN next year. he is already a 5 star from rivals.

Matt Barkaley (sp) 6'3'' QB from California is the #1 recruit next year by rivals. he lists the vols but is believed to be a Southern Cal lock. he watched the vols during the outback bowl (he was there accepting a award). so im hoping that he thinks highly of us now.

Hv i know there are more....who else would u add?

so i just took a gander at next year's prospects and i'm already feeling like it might be another year like this one. i went through the first 30 players and I think we only have 4 people interested in tennessee with probably only one realistic possiblity. How can we compete if we aren't getting the top players in the nation?

You have to be kidding me? Those lists for next year's recruits are going to chance immensely between now and next Feb.

Like rick said, those ranking will change. Also, just because guys aren't in the top100 doesn't mean they won't be any good. Steve Slaton was a 3* back out of high school, and look at him now. We will end next recruiting class ranked in atleast the top 10 but probably top 5.

yea i completely understand that. The only thing I'm honestly concerned about is our two biggest rivals Alabama and Florida. Both of those schools are on the majority of next years recruits list. While Tennessee is not on many at all. I have faith they can get some studs.

Ummm...Satan and Crier will do anything to get recruits to come in. Ask anyone on here.

Why is this thread stupid? It was intended to get an idea of future prospects. I like to keep up with the recruiting trail while others may not care.

We up here in Washington hear rumblings of a player from your neck of the woods, his name is Darrien Roper.

6' - 220lbs FB/LB - Sleeper type recruit out of Hendersonville? Word is he's the "Toughest H.S. Football player in Eastern Tenn."

I know Washington has him on their radar. Does anyone happen to know or has anyone seen this kid play? Would appreciate some insight. Thanks
