We have talent in the QB room, especially with FB coming in and then there’s always a chance for the portal. QB is my least concern for next year.
Edit: and who knows if JA will get another year doubtful, but you never know.
No need to respond to posters like that. He has his agenda and he’s. It gonna listen to anyone except like thinkers.Losing our starting QB and taking a random guy and turning him into the SEC leader in passing yards while still maintaining a possible 10 win season if you count the bowl win we may have is absolutely huge.
Given that and losing two of our best DBs 9-3 is a stellar situation. We without a doubt should have won more. We should have hit the kick versus GA and taken gotten that win.
But to complain and try to bring someone down with snarky comments while TN is winning at the swamp for this first time since I was 13 is crazy work.
Who needs rivals when we have fellow fans like you.![]()
I for one was surprised. UT was only favored by ~4 pts. This Gator team was tied with UGA going into the 4th quarter of their game, and was leading #7 Ole Miss going into the final quarter of the game at Oxford. Based on that and UT’s defense, I was actually expecting a nail-biter.This game should not have been a surprise to anyone.
Florida has an interim coach, starting players opting out, and 3 wins.
This game is going exactly how everyone expected once Napier got fired.
Very pleased to end the streak, but this is the most unsurprising performance to anyone.
It may have been talked about but it appears only one guy - Tank Hawkins, receiver with 2 catches - has done so, and in order to preserve his redshirt. There is no opt-out calamity that I can find. This has been talked about a lot since Napier was fired. They lost starters on defense and receivers opting out the last 3 weeks. Even the Florida posters here have been talking about this.
Between guys opting out, injuries, and interim staff, this Florida squad is trash.

I agree but Joey was on nobody’s radar which is why he went to a gutter school like UCLA.That random guy threw for 6,000+ yards and 55+ touchdowns in the 2 years before joining Tennessee. Heupel had all the tape on Aguilar to know what kind of offensive adjustments to make in the offseason. Why? Because Heupel is damn good at catering to any given QB
They almost beat Ole Miss last week in Oxford. This game should not have been a surprise to anyone.

There hasn't been any regression except in the eyes of those who don't know any betterI’m sorry but the measuring stick of pre Heupel has to stop. It took him 26 games to get us back to national relevance. And in 5 years, he is on the verge of 40 wins in 4 seasons. He elevated the program rather quickly. Measuring his current and future record against the decade of misery is settling.
Heupel deserves all the spoils from his quick Tennessee resurgence. He also deserves the criticisms that come with regressing if that occurs. That 2022 season sped up the schedule of getting back to national relevance. I for one am thankful
You can’t name one Florida team that we played in the Swamp that had a roster of injuries and opt outs along with an Interim coach. That 4-8 squad was started out like 4-1 that year. They ended the season on a 7 game losing streak.
Of course to no surprise to anyone, leave it Lyle Jones to lose to a squad that wound up finishing 4-8

I meant regression in the program as a whole. You wouldn't understand
Those trees block your viewIf we finish 9-3 , that’s a step back. 8-4 would be full on regressing in this expanded playoff era.
Really to me doesn’t mean much as our season ended on 11/1. 7-5 to 9-3 doesn’t mean much difference to me when it comes to Heupel’s seat. I don’t think he could finish this season with his seat being anything other than ice cold. But next year is the hinge year. We have a tougher schedule and breaking in a new starting QB.
2026 is indeed big important year for Hype

That being said I’m not really interested in debating with you. Your points are moot and yourself selectively engaging with about 1/8th of each of my replies to you. Thank you for the debate and engagement.
