Looking at the schedule for next season, I am pleasantly surprised. By my take it looks as if we have a strong possibility of going 9-3 or better. If intensity stays high, as I believe it will, I'd venture to guess the 3 toss-ups(UF, UGA, and Alabama) could easily go my way.
There are two games that particularly stand out in my eyes. Florida, because of all the hype, and Bama, because it's back to the third Saturday in October, where it is supposed to be. I believe both of these games will simply come down to who wants it more, because our talent can match up with theirs any day. Not to mention, a rivalry game doesn't always go the way of the stats.
This being said, given one win out of those three losses, there's no reason we shouldn't be in contention for the SEC and for a BCS bowl game. Personally I think Kiffin is set up for success, and I only hope he can pull it off.
My biggest worry is the quarterback situation, and it is this that will make or break our season. Hopefully Crompton has learned that he doesn't need to show he has a cannon on every pass, that touch is just as important as distance. There's never been a TD on a pass thrown 7 yards in front of the receiver (excluding a pick 6). If he gets his head in the game, he's our man. I like Stephens, but he couldn't pull it out in the clutch last season. I personally don't know enough about Coleman to make a judgement.
Basically, we have the potential to have a monumental season, and I couldn't be more optimistic.
