No, it is FREEEEEEEEZING here in MI (Detroit)!! I skipped the Red Wings game last night because it is too cold..ridiculous! Gosh I miss the mild Winters in Knoxville lol

Hopefully D.Green's recruitment turns out like McNeil did last year it seemed like all signs pointed to him going to Okie St. and he ended up picking us....

From everything I've read about Lawson, I believe he'll be a Vol. When he finally does come on in I think you may see more "big time" recruits really lean our way GBO!!

I would like to know specifically who these big time recruits are that are going to roll over to UT at the last minute. Names would help instead of just pronouns.

The team I saw in their bowl game with their "offense" on the sidelines was pretty darn good. They won't look back on offense next year.

Derrick Green, Vonn Bell, Carl Lawson, Bellamy...this is just a short list of big recruits who have us in their final 2-3 going into signing day in two weeks.

Can someone start a thread oni how its amazing in the fact that we have 3 5*s in the state of Tn this year which is unheard of. What makes this story even crazier is that UT could potentially miss out on all 3, WHICH IS UNHEARD OF!

I don't know, but I kinda hope it's not Bell. I read his assessment of UT's in home visit and he basically said he and his brother chilled down stairs while the coaches talked to his mother most of the night. He said the coaches finally came down there and played the video game with them. If a kid doesn't care enough to give a group of coaches his attention during an in home visit...that's a character issue in itself to me.

So you are saying they will commit and sign with us? Being in the top 2 or 3 is one thing but signing the paperwork is another. You are talking about these recruits signing the paperwork with us, right? How else does this avalanche of 5 star talent start rolling downhill?

I'm not buying any of the preplanned announcements until they are done. These guys change their minds so often they have no idea what they're don't tomorrow. Until NSD we won't know.

There's an article on volquest that states all of this....his opinion of Coach Jones and company's in home visit. Why would I not want him??? Because if his video game is more important than listening and interacting with our coach then I don't want that kind of kid representing our program...that's why. He said he and his brother stayed down stairs most of the night while the coaches visited with his mom. Total lack of respect on his part if that's how the visit went down.

i personally know vonn bell, live 15 minutes away and i talked to him after the in home visit monday, he told me that he really ejoyed the coaches coming over and he didnt say anything about them just talking to his mother. even though i talk to him, he still hasnt said who leads in the recruiting but im getting the sense that if i had to guess, he'll end up at Ohio St.

Read the article on volquest regarding his visit. He chilled most of the night downstairs with his brother playing call of duty... Mom and the coaches talked football. Sorry, but I got a pretty self centered first impression. I'm sure that's not uncommon with a lot of "5 star recruits"! Too much attention equals super egos sometimes.
