I'm calling it right now. Les Miles to be HC with Tee Martin as OC and HC in waiting. Would love to see them get a DC that is a Tennessee man as well. Chavis or Steele would be perfect.

I’d be good w that

Tee just needs more time. Way too risky of a hire given the state we’re in

My hope is that a good coach would prefer to work for another coach that has won a national championship more than a puppet. Hopefully Phil will give the new coach the control he needs to be successful. Unlike Haslam was willing to do.

I think it will be Miles. If not then Tee. I would be happy with either.

You going against Saban, Smart, Muschamp, Mullen, and now Fisher. You better get someone who can recruit his azz off and knows the SEC. If not he will get eaten alive. i.e. Dooley and Jones.

Gruden, Peterson, Patterson, Shaw

Jesus... Petersen and Patterson have no interest. Shaw is very unlikely and I’m not even gonna talk Gruden until he’s on the sideline. How many times has he been signed since 2011?

I love Tee but I just don’t think he’s ready yet. I would of course support him if he got the job though. I have to be honest and admit that in terms of him potentially being our head coach, it does concern me a little bit that he got an 11 on the Wonderlic. I haven’t seen too many people mention this, and I know it’s probably somewhat of a touchy subject. I just think you have to factor everything like that into the equation when it comes to vetting a head coach at a place with as much pressure as Tennessee.

Oh its been mentioned plenty. I think its pretty insulting that people are trying to use some bs NFL combine test to question Tee's intelligence. He is a college graduate who learned NFL playbooks and has ran college passing games for years. Why are we not trying to dig up stuff like this on other coaches? Why is he the only coach who is having his intelligence questioned?

While I am looking forward to seeing who the next HC will be, I'm equally intrigued by who he hires. OC, DC, O-Line coach, D-Line coach, etc. that'll let us know a lot about the success potential moving forward. Really hope whoever the HC is, he considers retaining Coach Gillespie.
