Hope this stays in the recruiting forum, because that's the intent.
This past weekend, when UK beat UT in basketball, my next door neighbors of course came out to crow about the victory ( I live in extreme UK territory).
I said, that's alright, this was one of the biggest recruiting weekends for Vol football of the year. And those guys saw an exciting game and an awesome TBA atmosphere for the time they were at the game.
The neighbors could not even grasp that. Football? Recruits? During basketball season?
Anyhow, they then decided to let me know that they think Dooley will be gone mid-season next year and they stand a good chance of beating us again in the fall.
I can not help but look at this recruiting class and smile with glee at the thought of McCullers, Sentimore, and Santos (among many others, I know) lining up against a pitiful UK team next season.
The last 5 years or so have equalled many very close (even overtime) games against the Wildcats.
I think the next game (in Neyland) will feature an absolute defensive BEAT-DOWN of the wildcats.
I can't wait to see a fierce defense on the field, helping restore the true SEC hierarchy.
Can't wait to round out this 2012 class, including a couple more exciting recruits!!!
GBO!!!
