Hope this stays in the recruiting forum, because that's the intent.

This past weekend, when UK beat UT in basketball, my next door neighbors of course came out to crow about the victory ( I live in extreme UK territory).

I said, that's alright, this was one of the biggest recruiting weekends for Vol football of the year. And those guys saw an exciting game and an awesome TBA atmosphere for the time they were at the game.

The neighbors could not even grasp that. Football? Recruits? During basketball season?

Anyhow, they then decided to let me know that they think Dooley will be gone mid-season next year and they stand a good chance of beating us again in the fall.

I can not help but look at this recruiting class and smile with glee at the thought of McCullers, Sentimore, and Santos (among many others, I know) lining up against a pitiful UK team next season.

The last 5 years or so have equalled many very close (even overtime) games against the Wildcats.

I think the next game (in Neyland) will feature an absolute defensive BEAT-DOWN of the wildcats.

I can't wait to see a fierce defense on the field, helping restore the true SEC hierarchy.

Can't wait to round out this 2012 class, including a couple more exciting recruits!!!

GBO!!!

They're a funny bunch, definitely an anomaly in SEC fandom. Girl at work is a big UK fan. She came into work back in OCT/NOV decked out in blue talking about how excited she was for their blue and white game, blah, blah, blah. Bless her heart.

We (collectively Bama, Cane, and Vols fans) laughed and let her know we didn't even know that Basketball started until January. It was all in good fun, but they couldn't care less about football.

I honestly hope Dooley makes a point with this game. The Vols better run the score up. I'm saying 50+ points if at all possible. I want to see a beat down.

We still have a 13 consecutive home winning streak against Kentucky.

Bastages may get lucky at home but not in Neyland

Vandy had/has the same cockiness when playing us for the past 5 or so years since they beat us in 2005. They think they can beat us every year and it seems like Kentucky is going to be the same. The best part is we have only lost 2 games to both these opponents in over 28 years. That's right around 55 wins to 2 losses. So to be perfectly honest, their football opinion doesn't mean jack ****!

My hatred for UK knows no bounds. Hope we either beat them by 100 or beat them in the most painful frustrating way possible. Anything to increase their anguish.

UT owes several teams a spanking. I hope '12 will be the year they all get it.

I hope we absolutely murder UK this year in football. I can't stand their fans. For being so sorry, I don't understand where they get their arrogance from. They beat us one time in 26 years and are already penciling us in as a win for next year! Give me a break. We better hang 60 on them in Neyland.
