Next Coach at Knox Central?

Bill Mynatt who does the radio broadcast of the Powell games tweeted yesterday:
"I have been told by a source close to the process that Knoxville Central will have an announcement by weeks end on their new coach."

He's pretty connected when it comes to Knoxville football, so his source may be good. I guess we'll find out in a day or two. Or maybe the announcement will be they haven't found a coach and are re-opening the search.

Mynatt is creditable, but it just concerns me that weeks end is tomorow.

Coach Stewart has been retained at Powell as the new defensive coordinator. Also, Reed Lindsey will be leaving Bearden and coming to Powell as a secondary coach.
