According to someone in the AD department, UT has scheduled a press cnference Monday at 1 EST. Kiffin is already in town, and will attend the game tommorrow to see what talent he has as of now. :good!:

I wonder if he'd like to stop by and tailgate with me?
He is old enough to drink right??

Thats fine as long as he is in a box and can't be seen. It would be very rude for him to be on the sideline with Coach Fulmer still here.

Maybe they could become friends and Kiffin offer him the OL coach. :post-4-1090547912:

I think it's rude to collect $6 mil for failing to win an SEC title in a 10 year span. I hope Lane walks down at the end of the game and jerks the headsets off Fulmer's head.

Or maybe he could waltz over to YY6, Row 19, Seat 21 and give you a wet kiff.

Damn. I have a presentation to give at around that same time. I guess I'll set my DVR to two channels and pray that one of them has decent coverage.

the class thing for our new coach to do would be to wait until after the press conference to make an appearence in Neyland. Like him or not, Fulmer deserves to go out with class. Tomorrow is his day. Monday belongs to Kiffin.

I hope this is true (that Kiffin will be at the game) - I'm pretty sure it will be kept low-key, if not totally undercover). Don't know if Kiffin has ever been to a game at Neyland, so would prob. be good to experience it before it's his first time as HC of the Vols. And another possible upside is that the players hear he's watching and decide to step up their game. (Tho' I would hope CPF's last game would be enough incentive).

I'm sure it will be on UTSports so if you miss it, you will be able to watch it later.

As long as he's watching from a box with tinted windows. The Lloyd Carr send-off game was a little weird with Rodriguez hovering over in the luxury box last year.

BUT, a good turnout at Neyland could be great to show Kiffin the kingdom he has inherited.

Lets stop with the negativity toward Fulmer. 99 percent of us are glad he is gone but the man did devote his life to UT football, the university and the community. We can at least give the man some respect.
