This is indeed a sad day. I don't agree with anyhing that Pearl has done and I'm a firm believer in being held accountable for your actions but this really does suck. There will definantly be a divided front on the matter and I guess I'm stuck in the middle. Theres a ton of things I hate Pearl has done from his text book substitutions, the controlled chaos junk, to multiple end game situations where I thought really showed his weakness as an Xs and Os guy but then again there are tons of things I love about the guy. The way he scheduled games, how he pretty much pumped up the whole community and made tennessee relevant again and so on. Maybe I'll get flamed, I know it has to be done but I just wish there was a way where the guy could get a second chance at UT.

which you seem to forget. They haven't had any magic for a long time and just fired their coach. LSU was the worst team in the SEC this year. You dudes who are suddenly so moral and so eager to sack Pearl will be singing another tune in another year or two when we sux again--as we did for about 20 years before Bruce got here.
